The 14 ply All Blocked Up cardigan is a nod to the colourful 90s, the best decade ever in knitwear. This cardigan falls on the hips with a slightly puffy body and sleeve. It knits up quickly in 14 ply. You will get lots of compliments wearing this.

The All Blocked Up cardigan is built using a traditional seamed technique, i.e. each piece – back, fronts x 2, sleeves x 2 – is knit separately from the bottom up, sewn together and then the collar and bands are knit in place. The cardigan is loose fitting and comes in 4 sizes: size 10-12, size 14-16, size 18-20, and size 22-24.

Because of the colourwork, you will need between 14 and 24 50g balls depeding on sizing. That is 3-5 balls for each of the four main colours, and 2-4 for the fifth ribbing colour. These amounts are to ensure you don’t run out of any yarn colour.
Our test was knitted with five colours of the Patons Inca wool, though any 14 ply/super chunky yarn will work. You will also need 7 buttons.

Please note that all instructions are metric.
