This pattern was designed as part of the FAVORITE THINGS collection.
This shawl is incredibly quick to knit and warm to wear. Its easy lace patterns grow organically without any complex stitches. You can make a monochromatic version or play with color-blocking.
What else could you need to stay cozy on a cold day?

64 inches (210 cm) from side to side and 29 inches (55 cm) from top to bottom at deepest point (after blocking).

Yarn: 3 skeins of Waltham Aran by Kettle Yarn Co (100% Wool; 176 yards 160m/100g); or approx. 515 yards of aran weight yarn in 2 colors. You will need 340 yards in color A and 175 yards in color B. The sample was made using 2 skeins of color Graveney (Color A, Pearl Gray) and 1 skein of color Peaky Blinder (Color B - Charcoal).
Needles: US 8 (5 mm) needles (long straights or circular).
Other notions: Tapestry needle, blocking pins or wires.

16 st and 28 rows to 4” (10cm) in garter st on US 8 (5 mm) needles after blocking.

This shawl is worked from the centre top down. Stitches are increased at the centre and at the edges every other row to give it its characteristic triangular shape.
