Matching sets are wonderful until the day comes that you can’t find one of the pieces. NEVER will that happen with this set, because the hat and scarf are connected - permanently!

This pattern is for intermediate knitters and you’ll need to know the basics of knitting along with yarn overs and knitting in the round.

The Scarf requires a U.S. 7, 32” circular and the Hat will need U.S. 4 and 6, 16” circulars along with U.S. size 6 dp needles.

Two skeins of Lion Brand’s Wool-Ease will make this set. I had several yards left over, so if you have a tendency to use more yarn than the pattern calls for, I would recommend buying one extra skein.
