Details
The All is Bright Earflap Hat is offered in both a Top(Crown)-Down(Brim) and a Bottom(Brim)-Up(Crown) version so you can pick your favorite way to crochet a hat. The Headband works up nicely, and is a fun option too!
This project can be made with any yarn, using the measurements throughout the pattern to achieve the right size! The sample was made with worsted weight yarn, an I (5.5MM) hook for the Body and G (4.0MM) hook for the Brim. Sizing is given for Baby, Toddler, Child, Teen/Small Adult and Large Adult sizes. A bow & a flower pattern is also included, as well as offers a suggestion to use buttons on the Earflaps for attaching a face mask! This project works up quickly!

Stitching
For the bottom-up All is Bright Hat and Headband, the Brim is worked in short rows first, joined, and you begin working in joined rounds up from the side of the rows’ ends. You can add earflaps according to the instructions. For the top-down hat, you begin at the crown and work the design until you reach the desired height, where you will add earflaps straight into the pattern. Overall, you are sure to have great texture that looks like little stars!
