Yarn Cascade Yarns Eco Alpaca (100% undyed baby alpaca): #1523 mocha, 7 (9,9, 10, 11) skeins.

Needles Size 6 (4 mm): 32” circular and spare needle for three-needle BO. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers; stitch holders; tapestry needle; five 5⁄8” buttons; five 1/2” flat backing buttons; embroidery floss or silk thread; sewing needle.

Gauge 23 sts and 29 rows = 4” in Broken Rib.

Notes This cardigan is worked back and forth in pieces and seamed. The front bands are worked simultaneously with the body and then a collar extension is worked and sewn down to the back neck.
