This skirt matches the All Tied Up Vest. It features a vent closed with a tie like the vest. To accommodate the vent, the skirt is worked flat for 6.5″, then additional stitches are cast on at the end of the row and it is then worked in the round. Evenly spaced decreases are worked to shape the waist. The waistband is worked in seed stitch to the fold line, and the inside of the band is Stockinette stitch. It is designed to fall above the knees. If you would like it longer (or shorter), work more (or fewer) rounds after it is joined in the round before beginning the waist shaping.
