Allegro is an unusual, wrap around top, with ribbed waistband and open back. This top is extremely lightweight due to its open lace stitch. It is very easy to make and knits up really fast, with very little finishing needed. A superb piece to wear over a summer dress or t-shirt with jeans or as a layering piece for winter. Allegro is superb for protecting your neck and upper back against chilly evenings and is so light, you almost forget you are wearing it. Pictured here with the cross-over at the front, Allegro can be worn with this at the back so that the draped poncho look is forwards.
