Alleviate - because sometimes it’s all about understated simplicity.

Alleviate was designed to be an easy and soothing knit. Utilising the simplest of stitches, this is the ideal shawl for showcasing that special skein of gradient or colour change yarn.

Alleviate is versatility at its best. Completely reversible, written to maximise your yardage while the long shallow shape gives a multitude of options for wrapping and wearing.

Alleviate is knit top down in fingering/4 ply yarn. Recommended yarns are Tri’Coterie Sock Merino Tweed and Schoppel-Wolle Crazy Zauberball. Both these yarns have a marled/tweed effect. To get a similar result to that pictured, I recommend a yarn that is plump, lofty or “sproingy”. 100% wool yarns that bloom or full when blocked are ideal.

Pattern has been tech edited and test knit. Instructions are written only.
