Alluvion was the 2012 YarnAddict Mystery KAL.

This shawl starts with a beaded edging using large miracle beads and moves into a lace section. The crescent shape is achieved by working a combination of short rows and decreases and there’s a choice of a lacy edging for the top of the shawl too.

Choose between a small version knitted in sock yarn (no lace edging at the top) or a large version knitted in either sock or lace yarn.

Materials:
100gr/400m or 200gr/800m sockweight yarn (4py weight/fingering weight)
4mm/US6 circular needle (100cm or 120cm long)
19/25 6mm miracle/illusion beads
0.75mm crochet hook

or

100gr/800m laceweight yarn
3.5mm/US4 circular needle (100cm long)
25 4mm miracle/illusion beads
0.50mm or 0.75mm crochet hook

You may also need some stitch markers and a row counter, although these items are not essential.
