The Alocasia Pullover was inspired by one of my favorite houseplants Alocasia Polly. The plant boasts
large dark green arrowhead shaped leaves with highly defined spines and veins in a lighter green. The yoke of the sweater features the unique leaf shape radiating out from the collar. Knit from the top down in the round this sweater requires no seaming and is a fun balance of two color stranded knitting and simple stockinette stitch. Knit up in Brooklyn Tweed’s Loft yarn the sweater has a rustic, woolly feel and slightly tweedy appearance. The Alocasia Pullover is the perfect sweater to bring a little houseplant joy to your wardrobe in the cooler months!
