Worked in Katherine’s lovely hand-dyed alpaca at Ewetopia in Viroqua, WI. This is a very simple lace pattern knit on the diagonal (start at one corner, increase to desired width, knit straight for a while, decrease to create the other corner.) The short ends are then seamed together to form a loop that will drape like a cowl. This is very quick to knit up. Available as a free Ravelry download.

Please note: Lace stitch is worked over 6 rows; row 6 is a WS row and should be worked the same as rows 2 & 4.
