“Alphamitts” is a child-sized pattern, available for free download, that uses small amounts of two colors of Knit Picks Palette or similar fingering-weight yarn. The pattern includes a full-page color chart, and tips to start you in the right direction if you should want to adjust these for adult sizing. The mittens are identical - you do not reverse the thumb shaping for the second hand - so that the two palms held together show the entire alphabet motif. The perfect cheat-sheet for your sing-songy sweetheart!
