The first in a new, garden-inspired shawl collection. An alpinarium is a garden that includes plants from the alpine region and in terms of knitting, the alpine region is also known for lovely cable-work.

This heart-shaped shawl is worked “top-down” in one piece and features a combination of lace and cable-work with a lacy, lattice edging. The design is written for a large, high-yardage, skein of sock yarn but includes instructions on how to adjust it for differing yardages. The pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

Please note: The edging chart/instructions begin on the WS.

The Gardens shawl collection will feature four patterns that will be released between August and October 2014. You may purchase each pattern individually or as part of the collection. The collection can be purchased at any time, and you’ll automatically received updates as the new patterns are released. All patterns in the collection will include both charted and written instructions as well as guidance for adjusting the size of the shawls as needed. Schematics noting the sizes can be found in the pattern photos for each pattern.

Please keep in mind that if you buy the patterns individually, you will not get discounts or credits given towards the eBook purchase price after purchasing individual patterns.
