This design is an extension of the Maple Grove Blanket I designed for my youngest daughter while I was heavily pregnant. My inspiration was a gorgeous set of gradient colourways (the Maple Vanilla colourway set) on Springvale Bulky yarn from Three Irish Girls.

The tree lace for this version looks more like a Pine tree so the name Alpine Grove seemed fitting, given the fact that the blanket looks like a grove of trees.

I am selling this with the Alpine Grove Blanket pattern together in the ‘Alpine Grove Ebook’ as well as in combination with the Maple Grove patterns in ‘The Grove Collection’.
