These socks are worked from the toe up on two circular needles, using the Alternating Slip-Stitch pattern from Charted Knitting Designs: A Third Treasury of Knitting Patterns by Barbara G. Walker. This simple stitch pattern, when worked in hand-painted or self-striping yarn, gives the illusion of a complicated colorwork design.

This is my first published pattern and I welcome your questions and comments. My Ravelry username is sarriemom and I check my messages regularly.
