This pattern is also available as part of My Eco collection - Book 1: an eco-friendly e-book with 8 patterns (3 shawls - Alvo, Sopro and Estio; 2 berets - Mayla and Quadra, 2 cowls - Catita and Matiz and 1 hat - Ornato)

Alvo is an easy triangular shawl worked from the center back downwards to the edging. The body is knitted in a pretty lace st pattern resembling flowers, branches and hearts. The edge has a simple, yet dramatic effect due to the scallop stitch. I think this works beautifully as a wedding shawl too.
