I grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, and was always proud and fascinated by the breadth of diversity in the landscape of the province. I remember most vividly travelling towards the mountains for a vacation and watching the landscape transition from waving fields of wheat to snow-capped peaks. Even though I have moved away from my Canadian home I will always be a Prairie Girl.
