Am I Too Purple? is a lightweight and cozy cardigan…. wearing it feels like a hug!. The cardigan is knitted with a single strand of lace weight mohair, incorporating stripes of alpaca yarn held double. It is a top down raglan construction, with a low V-neckline and a cropped silhouette. It is closed by a tie that can either wrap around the body giving shape at the waist, or tie at the front if you prefer a straight and loose fit. All hems are folded.

Yarn
The idea behind this cardigan, is to use yarns with a contrasting texture and weight. The body of the sample is knitted in a single strand of lace weight mohair, whilst the stripes are knitted using either 1 strand of lace weight mohair and 1 strand of lace weight alpaca held together, or 2 strands of alpaca. The stripes thus have a solid texture whilst the body is light and sheer.
