Amacha describes sweet Japanese tea made from the leaves of Hydrangea macrophylla.

This sweet tea is not only highly popular for tea ceremonies celebrating Buddahs Birthday but also a perfect little treat in between.

Much like this sweet tea the Amacha Cowl is the perfect little knitting treat, one skein of your favorite fingering weight yarn and you are good to go!

Texture is combined with simple eyelets and twisted ribbing to keep the knit interesting and make it super versatile to wear.

The sample was knit in one skein of Herbstblatt Regina Yarns, Oak Sock in the Hydrangea Garden colorway.

Note: If you are using a skein with less yardage than suggested instructions to adapt the pattern to your available yardage are given in the pattern. Alternatively you can also knit this cowl in different colors for each segment!
