The watchman’s cap is an iconic and well loved pattern from WWII. This updated and modernized version takes advantage of a chunky weight yarn to make this a quick to work up project you will come back to time and time again. Ontheround Hand Dyed Merino Wool Yarn is a pleasure to knit with and this pattern uses all but just a few yards of the skein, making it a perfect one skein project!

Pattern Notes
Hat is worked in the round from the brim to the crown. A 16in. circular needle is used until crown decreases when stitches are split up onto three double pointed needles.
