Amber Waves
A treat for your toes.

Inspired by the beautiful golden shades of autumn leaves, these socks feature an overall cabled waves pattern, alongside a Double Heart cable executed in twisted stitches.

This lush yarn (cashmere, alpaca and silk) in glowing, saturated colours make these socks extra special and warm, especially with alpaca’s insulating properties. No cold toes here!

These socks are knit from the toe up, using Judy’s Magic Cast-on and an Afterthought Heel.

Tutorials included in the pattern:

  • Link to Judy’s Magic Cast-On for first-timers,
  • Afterthought heel tutorial with photos and written instructions, and
  • Twisted Stitch Cable written instructions - and a link for more help.
