This pattern is for a fun little cape that provides comfort and warmth on chilly evening at home or out and about over a shirt or coat for an extra layer of warmth and style.

I designed this pattern for my daughter at Christmas time. She wanted something cabled that she could wear while cuddled up on the couch with a book. I had a picture in my mind of how it would look and set out to find a pattern. After much searching I did not find a pattern that came close to what I wanted, so I decided to make one up myself. She loves hers and I hope you love it too.

I used a Bulky yarn by Bernats, but any bulky weight yarn will do. Or you can do like my mother did while test knitting the pattern and use a worsted weight held double. Hers came out beautifully and it is now a staple in my winter wardrobe.

If you have any questions or concerns about the pattern, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you and enjoy!
