Amelia is a fingering weight shawl knit in two colors. It features both intarsia and stranded color work. Worked from side to side, Amelia uses clean lines and color blocks to create a flattering look. The name “Amelia” was one of many community submitted suggestions, and it fit most closely with my aesthetic idea of this shawl. Light, comfortable, flattering, and classic. Amelia will become a staple shawl in your wardrobe.

I used the full skeins of Debbie Bliss Fine Donegal. If you’re substituting yarn, I suggest getting a little extra to compensate for any slight yarn or gauge differences.

Amelia was named via a community contest. There were many fantastic name submissions. I am so thankful to have a community of creative individuals who are so supportive.
