This pattern is part of an ongoing collection called ‘Women in Science’, which wants to give visibility and reivindicate the work of great women who helped make the world a better place. This collection aims to represent women from several disciplines, ranging from computer science to anthropology.

This pattern will help you create an Amelia Earthart doll, one of the first womens to be an aircraft pilot. Once finished, the doll has an approximate height of 8cm, which makes her a great keychain :)

These are the supplies you’ll need:

• Cotton yarn of size 2.5-3mm (I’ve used Schjeeps Cotton 8) in the colours: cream, white, green, light blue, sand, golden, brown.
• 2.5mm crochet hook
• 3mm crochet hook
• Polyester filling
• 6mm safety eyes
• Yarn needle, scissors, pins…
• Glue
• Blush (optional)
