Make your American Girl doll, Maplelea Girl doll, or other 18 inch doll happy by knitting this adorable and versatile striped hoodie sweater. A great sweater pattern for fall school outfits, with jeans, or over a winter dress, this pattern is cute, comfy, and makes a great wardrobe piece.

Knit from the top down using raglan shaping, this hoodie is easy to knit. The hood is picked up and knit after the sweater body and sleeves are finished, and then the button band is picked up and knit to complete the sweater. The sweater body and hood are knit back and forth, and the sleeves are knit in the round. Designed to use fingering weight or sock yarn, this cardigan is just the right weight for the doll, and doesn’t overwhelm her.
