Summery lacy sock made for Knit Magazine’s Sock Club.

Light fingering weight yarn allows for lots of texture.
A combination of openwork and cables, ripples and bobbles cares for a leisurely feeling. To my eyes the straight lines at toe and heel match pleasingly with the flowing wave of the ripple pattern.

Notes on sizing:
Leg and foot length are easily adaptable, in 6-row-increments.
Width will stretch considerably.
Changing yarn weight and/or needle size will help, too, as always.
The heel though is designed for an average to small heel span. As the general construction is very standard, modification is easy. To change it to a more comfortable width for larger ankles, just work another 6-10 rows of heel flap and pick up 3-5 sts more for each gusset.

Design will be available after closure of KM Sock Club.
