They measure around 9 inches/22cm any child or baby would love to play with them, for a small baby you could add a rattle to the body when stuffing. Add a squeaker to the body and they would make a great dog toy, I know my Springer Spaniel puppy approves of them as she stole one and refused to give it back it’s now become her favourite toy.

This is an easy quick pattern with lots of step by step pictures to help you.
The Head, Body, Legs and Arms are made all in one so not a lot of sewing involved in the making up of these animals.
Mine are made with a 4ply/fingering yarn but you can use any yarn
