I created this pattern specifically to minimize sewing. The legs, body, and head are one piece.

Difficulty: Easy

I use USA terminology for my pattern.

The description is made for a small deer. To crochet a large deer, I used Yarn Art Creative and a 3 mm hook

FINISHED SIZE:
approx 3.9-4 inches (10 cm) with the yarn I used (YarnArt Ideal) and hook 1.9-2.0 mm
You can use any yarn (wool, acrylic, etc). If you use different yarn, the toy will be bigger or smaller and you will need more or less yarn than stated in the pattern. Also you will need a hook and eyes of another size.

• Beige yarn (I’ve used YarnArt Ideal 233)
• Brown yarn (I’ve used YarnArt Ideal 232)
• White or off-white yarn (I’ve used YarnArt Ideal 220)
• Black Yarn (I’ve used YarnArt Ideal 221)
• Red yarn (I’ve used YarnArt Ideal 237)
• White plush yarn (I’ve used Alize Softy 55)
• Safe eyes 6 mm
• Hook 1.9-2.0 mm
• Needle for sewing in ends, stitching pieces together.
• Polyester fiberfill for stuffing
• Pins
• Scissors
