The Amigurumi Coronavirus knitting pattern gives you clear step by step instructions and it only involves knitting flat. This pattern is suitable for a confident beginner/intermediate knitter and the finished virus is about 3 inches (7.5cm) in diameter.

What you will need:

2 knitting needles (US2.5/3mm or as per tension advice)
10g body DK grey yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 460 ‘Eeyore’)
10g protein spike DK red, orange or russet yarn (e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK 505 ‘Ketchup’) or
20g plain or variegated DK yarn
Two black toy safety eyes (9mm)
Polyfil toy stuffing
1 tapestry needle for finishing

Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing and Decreasing

Stitches used: Stocking stitch
