Tired of looking up at cloudy night skies? Why not knit your own moon!

This amazing plush is a perfect size (5 inches or 13cm in diameter) to sit on your desk or bookcase or even to hang from the ceiling as a source of astronomical inspiration. He’s also lovely to cuddle up to on your sofa or have as a bedtime friend.

As with all moons, he is pocked with craters and not quite round - make him extremely weathered and cratered or just barely marked, it’s all your choice!

This is just one of my range of astronomy themed designs, including planets, moons and stars.

The ButterflyLove pdf Amigurumi Moon knitting pattern gives you clear step by step instructions and handy hints along the way. It only involves knitting flat and is suitable for a beginner/intermediate knitter.
