Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring……..except for Macy the mouse! Little Macy came from a mouse nest within a small hollow log. While the other mice seemed to be accustomed to the chilly weather, little Macy plain didn’t like it! So she snuck off while the other mice slept, and made her way into the nearby human’s home. She scurried across the floor to a tree with a hundred motionless fireflies, and large colorful snowballs that wouldn’t melt! This tree puzzled Macy, but she soon found a box just her size that she could call home. She chewed through the shiny paper and cardboard, and snuggled in next to a small fluffy toy animal.
