When you finish crocheting Nelson the turtle, he will be about 8.5” tall and 8” long (from head to tail).

• Create a magic circle (or magic ring)

• Decrease stitches (invisible decreasing is used for this project)

Materials Needed for this Project:

• Size H/8 or 5.00mm Crochet Hook

• Size F/6 or 3.75mm Crochet Hook (for the eyes and backs of eyes)

• Yarn Needle

• Stitch Marker

• Scissors

• Polyester Fiberfill

• Sewing Pins (optional)

• Worsted Weight Yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver Solids--1 skein for each color)
o Paddy Green for head/neck, legs, backs of eyes, and tail
o Spring Green for the top shell
o Café Latte for the bottom shell
o Black for eyes and mouth
o White for eyes
