No gauge is listed in the pattern. There are instructions for making the penguin in three different colors, but the amount of yarn per color is the same for all three color sets.

Materials:

• Japanese size 2/0 (2.0 mm) hook

• color 1, approx. 4 g, 15.2 meters (16.62 yards)

• color 2, approx. 2 g, 7.6 meters (8.31 yards)

• color 3, approx. 2 g, 7.6 meters (8.31 yards)

• color 4, approx. 2 g, 7.6 meters (8.31 yards)

• two black beads for penguin’s eyes

• small amount of cotton or polyester filling

• cell phone strap to attach to penguin (a piece of nylon cord will work)
