Pattern created for the Handmade 2012 Craft Weekend Amigurumi class to be held in Wellington (Te Papa) during Queens Birthday (2nd and 3rd June 2012).

This Amigurumi Rabbit was inspired by the story ‘The Little Velveteen Rabbit’ it has a bit of detailing to make it look more ‘vintage. It’ll go great as a bag tag, as a mobile, to top a baby rattle or small cuddly.

Pattern written in US terms. Stitches used are (American) slip stitch, single crochet, increases, decreases and a magic circle.

You’ll need a 3mm crochet hook and about 50 meters of DK/8ply weight wool plus Yarn Needle, Scissors and Stuffing. Small quantities of embroidery floss for the facial features and detailing.
