This design was very much inspired by the love that two special people can share.

Many couples share similar interests, yet at the same time can also be different in lots of ways. These socks are just like those couples.

Each sock has different lace motifs, but they still look like they belong together. The lace patterns are similar, but at the same time, different.

As each sock is unique, you will never get the dreaded second sock syndrome ! With so many changes of stitch pattern, you will fly through the pair in no time at all.

Sock Details

The socks feature 10 lace designs, which will give you a little catalogue of stitches that you can use for your future sock knitting.

THE SOCKS ARE ONE SIZE ONLY (64 STITCHES), to fit an average sized foot of approximately 9 inches (23 cm) in circumference. You can adjust the size by working to a different gauge (use a smaller or larger needle) or by using a different weight of yarn.

The socks are worked top down and feature the ever popular heel flap and gusset construction, and my Umbrella Toe.

The instructions are written for the magic loop method, but other methods can be used.

The design has a contrast cuff, heel and toe and the pattern has detailed instructions on how to achieve this.

The pattern contains written and charted instructions.

Yarn Information

The pattern sample uses Cascade Heritage Solids in shades ‘Camel’ (5610) and ‘Strawberry Cream’ (5648).

I would suggest using a solid or tonal yarn to show the design to it’s best.
