Amore smock is a reversible all-season garment that is simple and beautiful. Wear it with a flowy sun dress, over a beach bikini, or simply throw it on over of your favorite top. It features a zig-zagged hemline on one side, and a straight hemline on the other. The smock design features a single cabbage rose motif on one side, and a lettered design “Amore” with flower embellishment on the other.

To make the garment, opt for a fine yarn that can give you similar gauge as described in pattern. For finer yarns, you can combine 2 strands to obtain a similar gauge. Remember to wash and block your gauge piece for more accurate sizing. The width of the smock does not have much room for size adjustment, but the shoulders can be shortened by reducing an even number of rows when making. So when testing gauge, the number of horizontal filet squares that takes to make up 10cm is of more importance.

The finished garment measures 33-35cm across, and it can fit up to a bust size of 100cm. To make the smock larger, you can simply opt for a thicker yarn and a larger hook.
