This crocheted shawl is created with one of Brenda and Heather Yarns’ Unicorn Lite Shawl Ball gradients. Color shown is Solar Flare.

With the main body of the Amplification shawl, I took a basic idea and expanded on a theme. Single crochet stitches give way to half double, then double crochet , and eventually treble crochet stitches as the pattern echoes forth. The border too grows in depth as the clusters of stitches expand to form a wave within the border. The shawl used almost an entire skein of our Unicorn Lite Shawl Ball gradient yarn. The shape, coupled with the open work of the shawl, causes it to drape nicely around the shoulders.
