This firm fit Beanie is worked in a four row cable pattern and the brim is worked in rib. The crown shaping rows are written out for you, to ensure the pattern continues to follow up. With just four rows to the cable pattern, this is a great introduction for anyone new to knitting cables.

Pattern sizes: Age 2-5 yrs, 6-10 yrs, Teen and Lady.

To fit head: 52 (54-55-56) cm 20½ (21¼-21¾-22) inches.

Yarn required: 1 (1-2-2) balls Lincraft Silk Plus, 50g balls@150m.

Needles required: A pair of 3.75mm UK 9, US 5 knitting needles.
Wool needle for sewing up.

Also required: Cable needle.

Tension: 37 sts and 36 rows to 10cm over cable patt, using 3.75mm needles.

Pattern rating: Intermediate.
