This month for our August Crochet Along, I have designed an easy-to-make, long, fringed scarf, using the Lemon Peel Stitch (aka Griddle Stitch).

An Old Favorite Crochet Scarf is crocheted with yarn sent to me by King Cole. Next week’s matching hat pattern also uses this yarn, along with a 7 mm hook.

The color I chose is called Marshmallow and it is a lovely neutral base with flecks of rainbow color throughout. The finished scarf is warm and soft and holds the shape of my stitches perfectly.

The stitch multiple for this project is included in my post so you can make this scarf in other sizes easily.
