A cable and lace wrap in a cool cotton-blend yarn. Knit from the center out, with little finishing required. Wonderful for summer evenings, whether at the beach or an outdoor concert.

This pattern is featured in and on the cover of Knitting in the Sun by Kristi Porter (2009), with charted instructions only.

The individual sale version was released in April 2012 with a new cast-on, new written instructions for the cables and lace, as well as brand-new charts.

Anacapa was designed for cool summer nights at the Hollywood Bowl, and named it after one of the islands off the coast of California, as an homage to the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland.
