Anaïs is knit along its wingspan, using a circular needle to hold all the stitches. The piece, however, is worked flat.

The firrst / last stitches are knit so as to form a chain selvedge (“slipped selvedge”) edge.

The lace pattern is called “Tilting Block,” an easy lace pattern that almost looks like you undertook a more complicated entrelac endeavour.

The curved shape is achieved through the use of short rows. Rather than the wrap & turn method, the gaps are closed with decreases.
