Anastasia is a reversible shawl with picot edging and beads that accentuate a lacy four-heart motif (inspired by an almost identical motif in Nancy Bush’s Knitted Lace of Estonia).

Its name inspired by the innocent yet daring Anastasia Steele in the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy, Anastasia is a shawl for anyone wishing to make a bold statement. Sweetly casual, it can be worn both in the summer to keep stylish and in the fall to keep cozy. Anastasia can especially be worn on date nights.

Simple yet extravagant, this shawl is both easy to make and lovely to wear.

This is a charted pattern. A basic understanding of knitting charts is required. You should also know how to attach beads to knitting with a crochet hook - for which tutorials are readily available online. If you haven’t knit with beads before, take it up as a challenge and learn today! You’ll be so proud of yourself afterwards, trust me :)
