Special techniques required: Kitchener stitch, color stranding.


Materials:
2 oz (56.6g) white worsted-weight wool; 2 oz (56.5g) red worsted-weight wool; contrasting waste yarn.



From the pattern description: These mittens use the brightly stitched Anatolian patterns found in traditional men's stockings. Although these mittens were knit from the cuff upward, knitting from this area was done in the Eastern method.
