Andiron Hat is full of cozy texture, with a chevron knit-purl pattern that mirrors across a column of knit stitches. The garter stitch brim is worked with the yarn held double on smaller needles for extra warmth around the ears. The rest of the body is worked with a single strand to allow the hat to slouch down and not feel too bulky. Choose from 4 sizes to fit a range of head circumferences!

This pattern includes detailed sizing notes and tips for checking fit while still in-progress. Custom sizing tips are also included! This pattern requires knowledge working in the round and decreasing. All stitch patterns are fully written and fully charted so you can work with your preferred method
