Andrea is a medium-sized shallow crescent shaped shawlette/scarf, designed to be a quick knit in super-bulky weight yarn, to keep you warm and cosy on the coldest of days. Knit from the bottom up, starting at the outside edge and shaped with short rows, Andrea uses just one skein of budget-friendly Patons Fab Big Colour (or equivalent super-bulky weight yarn), Andrea can be whipped up in a few hours, making her the perfect stashbuster and last-minute gift knit.

Instructions are provided in both written and charted format.

FINISHED SIZE AFTER BLOCKING:

Length across top edge approx 45in, depth 11in. The sample shown was knit in a synthetic yarn with little stretch. Making Andrea in a natural fibre such as merino will result in a larger shawl due to the stretchy properties of the yarn.

MATERIALS:

10mm (US15) circular needle
(32in/80cm) or needle size necessary
to achieve gauge
8 stitch markers (optional)
Tapestry needle
