Knitting pattern in German and in English for a headband with colourful bobbles and a twist in sizes XXS/XS | S/M | L – referring to head circumferences of 47 – 49 | 51-55 | 56-59 cm
Size XXS/XS suits best for a children’s head circumference, S/M and L are suitable for the head circumference of adults.

Structure:
The headband is knitted in stockinette stitch in rows, while the bobbles are worked in using different coloured strands of mohair yarn.
After you have completed the first half of your headband, you make a twist to shape the headband. Now the second half is going to be finished too and after casting off all sts, you sew together the beginning and the end of your headband.

Materials:

  • 50 g ”Fourseason” by Lana Grossa (110 m/50 g)
  • 25 g “Silkhair” by Lana Grossa (210 m/25 g)
  • Silkmohair leftovers in 5 different colours for the bobbles (in total about 13 - 15 g)
  • 4.5 mm knitting needles
  • 1 cable needle/DPN for the twist
  • Darning needle
  • Needle & thread

Knitting Tension:
10x10 cm = 18 sts x 24 rs in stockinette stitch with bobbles on 4.5 mm knitting needles (washed and slightly stretched)

Length finished headband:
46 | 52 | 57 cm with a negative ease of 0 to 3 cm
Width finished headband:
13 | 16 | 16 cm
