This crescent shawl is more of a C-shaped crescent due to the higher increase rate at the edges. This allows the shawl to sit securely on the shoulders without falling off. The tail ends can be worn hanging down (and they spiral when worn this way) or wrapped up at the neck and around the shoulders like a cape. Shawl size is customizable; any number of repeats of the main stitch pattern can be worked before working the edging.
