Angarika is an Indian girl name meaning a flame-coloured flower of Palash or Flame of the Forest. The Flame of the Forest gets its name because its brilliant red flowers in bunches seem to set the forest on fire.

The shawl is entirely charted and customizable in size which can be altered by varying the number of pattern repeats or changing yarn weight and needles.

The pattern features right and left slanting increases. For details and pictures please visit TLC Home “Knitting Increases”
