An easy-to-knit shell that looks complex. Great for warm days, under a cardigan at work, or with a long skirt for evening.

Variegated/hand dyed yarn works best. Larger gauge shell is knit in recycled sari silk yarn.

Finished measurements 34”-64”, in 2” increments

Pattern gives 2 gauges: 12 or 16 sts. to 4”/10 cm.
Use any weight yarn to make any size. Lowest yardage requirements are for bulky wt. yarn in smallest size. Highest yardage is for worsted/aran weight yarn in largest size.

Needle size = US 6-8 for 16 st to 4”/10 cm. or 10.5-11 for 12 st. to 4”/10 cm.or size to achieve gauge
