Gauge is not too important, although a tight tension will stop any stuffing showing through the finished Ted.

One 50g ball should make 3 Teds in 4ply, depending on tension.

One 100g ball should make 4 Teds in DK, depending on tension. Each Ted should weigh between 16-20g.
